Lithium ion Battery Cell Introduction
The prismatic lithium-ion battery cells we offer can be divided into two types: LFP(LiFePO4) battery cells and NMC battery cells.
LFP (LiFePO4) Battery cells
LFP battery cells, often recognized by their chemistry formula LiFePO4, are a type of lithium-ion battery that use iron phosphate as their cathode material. They are noted for their robust safety features, excellent thermal stability, and long cycle life, making them suitable for high-capacity energy storage and power supply applications.

NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) Battery cells
NMC batteries, or Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide batteries (LiNiMnCoO2), are another type of lithium-ion battery that use a combination of nickel, manganese, and cobalt in their cathode. NMC batteries are known for their high energy density, making them a popular choice for portable electronics and electric vehicles. They also provide a good balance between power and capacity, making them versatile for a wide range of applications.

Some of the above lithium ion battery cells have screw holes for the positive and negative terminals, some are flat. Those with screw holes usually need to be fitted with M4/M6 screws. Flat ones usually need welded M6 studs. If you have special needs, we can also customize the positive and negative terminals for you.

Packaging and Logistics
Understanding the unique properties of lithium-ion batteries, we uphold stringent professional and safety standards when packaging our products. We use UN carton or wooden cases.
Due to the special nature of lithium-ion batteries, not all logistics providers are qualified or capable of handling their transport. It’s vital to understand that these batteries require particular qualifications for shipping, and their shipping costs are naturally higher than regular goods.
In situations where logistics companies erroneously handle lithium-ion batteries as regular cargo, the risk of damage, leakage, or even severe incidents like fires or explosions, dramatically increases. To reduce such risks and guarantee safe delivery, it is critical to engage a professional logistics provider experienced in handling hazardous goods.
With our extensive export experience, NBcell Energy is committed to providing a comprehensive one-stop service for all your needs, assuring safety and reliability at every stage of the journey.
